You can drive with a car license!(IDP)
If you're planning to drive in Japan, you'll need
an International Driving Permit (IDP)
issued by a country that is a signatory of the Geneva Convention.
This permit must follow the format specified in the Convention
and should be obtained in your home country before your trip.
Alternatively, if you hold a driver's license from Switzerland, Germany,
France, Belgium, Monaco, or Taiwan,
you will need a Japanese translation of your license.

2) Mukoujima: A 5-minute ferry ride from JR Onomichi Station. You also have hostel “Onomichi stay MINAMOTO” next to Mukaishima shop.
3) Innoshima: The place related to Murakami Navy
4) Ikuchijima (Setoda):the island located in the middle of Shimanami Kaido. It’s famous for Miraishin no Oka (Hill of Hope).
5) Imabari: It’s on the Shikoku side of Shimanami Kaido.
You can start from any of these five locations and choose “drop off” at different locations, simplifying your schedule planning!
