Drive with Your Car License (IDP Required)
To ride in Japan, you need an IDP issued in your home country before arrival.
The IDP must follow the Geneva Convention format.
If you hold a license from Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco, or Taiwan, a Japanese translation is required instead.
