Innoshima

the double stars of the Shimanami Daifuku

Among the Shima Rider staff, these are the double stars of the Shimanami Daifuku world (we’re not even kidding!).

The classic local sweet, Hassaku Daifuku from Hassaku-ya, and the game-changing Hiroshima souvenir, Café au Lait Daifuku from Nakajima Confectionery—we can never choose just one.

Honestly, we always end up getting both and hopping between the two shops! (laughs)
Check the map for details!

Onomichi

Night Onomichi Food

When it comes to Onomichi cuisine, Onomichi Ramen is a must-try!
Each shop has its own unique flavor, so choosing just one can be tough.

Don’t miss Onomichi-yaki (local savory pancake), craft beer, izakaya pubs, Chinese dishes, and even stylish pizza spots.
We’ll let the photos do the talking—check the map below for details!

Iwashijima

Iwashijima Itsukushima Shrine

A mystical sight—this torii gate appears to float on the sea, making it one of Shima Rider’s top sunset spots.

Located on the little-known island of Iwashijima, just off the main Shimanami Kaido cycling route, it’s a true hidden gem.
