We are excited to announce that our popular camping gear rental option, previously available only with the Super Cub, can now also be rented with the Gyro CANOPY!

Enjoy Motorcycle Camping with a Standard Driver's License

Until now, our motorcycle camping experience was mainly available to riders with a motorcycle license.

With the addition of the Gyro CANOPY, guests holding a standard car driver's license can now enjoy motorcycle camping in Japan.

For international visitors, the Gyro CANOPY can be ridden with a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) under the Geneva Convention and Category B entitlement.

If you've always wanted to try motorcycle camping but don't have a motorcycle license, this is the perfect opportunity.

We hope you'll enjoy the unique experience of camping on one of the islands of the Shimanami Kaido—places that are best explored by scooter.

Important Information for International Visitors

To ride in Japan, you must have:

• Your original passport

• Your original driver's license from your home country

• A valid International Driving Permit (IDP) issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention

  
  

Please note:

• The IDP must be issued by an officially authorized organization in your home country.

• Online-only permits, unofficial translations, or documents issued by unauthorized agencies are not valid in Japan.

• Your IDP must be valid on the rental date.

• Category B on your IDP is sufficient to ride the Gyro CANOPY.

• In some cases, we may ask you to submit a Japanese translation of your driver's license and a copy of your license for verification before your rental date.
