If you want to try Innoshima’s famous Hassaku Daifuku, this is the place! The balance between the sweet white bean paste and the tart hassaku citrus is perfect, creating a flavor you can only experience here. A great surprise treat that will definitely put a smile on your partner’s face!
④Innoshima Navy Skyline

Nicknamed after the historic navy, this is the popular name for Route 366, which winds along the eastern mountainside of Innoshima. A top recommendation from the Shima Rider male staff, it’s one of the best touring spots! The road opens up to sweeping views of the sky and the Seto Inland Sea, giving you a liberating feeling—as if you were flying. Riding here might even make you look 30% cooler on your scooter!

Famous as the guardian deity of two-wheelers, this shrine is especially fitting for the Shimanami Kaido. It’s the only shrine in Japan where you can have your beloved bike (motorbike or bicycle) blessed right alongside you! A must-visit spot to pray for safety and happiness on your journey.

This is an absolute must-see finale spot for your trip! It features a gigantic camphor tree, a natural monument, with a unique hollow in its trunk that you can actually walk through. It’s said that touching the tree and making a wish will make it come true. Our Shima Rider staff felt the strongest spiritual energy here! We highly recommend that couples experience this powerful place together. There’s also parking available, so you can easily visit by bike!
